Greetings and Welcome to Rick Miles Architecture

Greetings and Welcome to Rick Miles ArchitectureGreetings and Welcome to Rick Miles ArchitectureGreetings and Welcome to Rick Miles Architecture

“For architecture to stand the test of time it must be provocative. It must be meaningful. It must inspire overwhelming emotion. It must trigger intrigue. This can only be achieved through a focus on first, the site, the future habitat of the structure, and then those who will immerse themselves in the experience of the final creation. When both nature and architecture form as one organism, only then is architectural greatness possible.”   Rick M. Miles

TENACIOUS PASSION

My name is Rick Miles and I’m developing this website to share my architecture, portfolio, resume, and anything else architecturally related that I find interesting.

A GLIMPSE INTO MY JOURNEY

Upon serving 30 years in the United States Navy, that included deploying to the Persian Gulf 10 times on 6 different ships and as a Naval Aircrewman in EP-3 reconnaissance aircraft, I have resurrected my childhood ambition of becoming an Architect. Driven by the desire to create, my inspirations include Frank Lloyd Wright, Frank Gehry, and Pierre Koenig. Architecture is a passion that I will pursue for the rest of my life and I intend to leave this earth, as Frank Lloyd Wright did, while overseeing my final project.
